July in Nice has affected us by a sad event the day of our National Day, the 14th of July. However French continue to express their joy of living and their love by celebrating the life.
For example, " Nice Jazz Festival " is organized every year since 1971. This year, Place Massena and in the Open-air theater, 31 groups, 5 evenings in a row, 6 trays on every 2 evenings simultaneous stages and a concert of Gospel. In the heart of the city, find themselves the alive legends of the jazz and the best of the current musics. All the colors of the jazz are there: funk, soul, pop, rock, in particular with the English pianist Jamie Cullum. The new generation is at the right place, too: the Israeli Omer Klein, the Americans Brad Mehldau and Jason Moran, the Belgian Eric Legnini also the Cuban Roberto Fonseca. Without forgetting the English singer Hugh Coltman and very elegant man Kurt Elling, the Hindi Moroccan Zahra or still the glory of the disco, Cerrone.
